The Maxwell Daily Reader: Spend today listening to others and letting them impress you.
Today, I found the time to focus on completing recovery steps that strengthen me physically, mentally, and spiritually. The best apart about it is that I had the opportunity to listen to others expressing their path of sobriety, which helped me get a better understanding of what I need to learn. It gives me different perspectives of addiction that I can avoid. Each story of someone’s experience helps me better prepare myself with situations such as negative environments, toxic relationships, criminal activities, and other circumstances that may cause possible relapse.
Daily Reflections: With few exceptions our members find that they have tapped an unsuspected inner resource which they presently identify with their own conception of a Power greater than themselves.

I’ve made the decision to start the Preparing for Success after Prison workbook over again. The reason why is because chapter teaches valuable lessons that are important to truly grasp and incorporate into my daily life. I will make it a priority to memorialize each lesson as I complete them.
