I am taking responsibility every day. In working with the public attorney to minimize the loss number and optimize my sentence mitigation, he said that sometimes my explanations appear to be excuses. I am not making excuses. I am fully aware of my part in all of this. I am guilty. I messed up, made bad decisions, and broke the law. I apologize to everyone involved, to my family, friends, colleagues, and patients. I am working hard to change myself and improve for the future. I still don’t know what will happen to me or where I will end up, but I know I will be okay, and my life will still have a positive meaning in helping others. And this is all because of the love and grace of Jesus.
