For some reason my work schedule was empty this afternoon at the clinic. No patients and nothing to do. So my boss, who is awesome in many ways, let me take off after lunch. I went to the gym and then was doing some stuff around the house when my oldest son stopped by out of the blue. I had not seen him since around New Year’s, and hadn’t heard anything from for about three months, despite my numerous attempts to message and communicate with him and his siblings. It was a great visit and so nice to see him! He was there to invite me to his graduation ceremony this coming Saturday. I am so grateful, so happy! Apparently, none of my other kids want to see or talk to me there, but I will be there to love and support all of them, especially my graduating son!
