I arrived here at FCI Beaumont (Medium) on July 1st of 2024. Been incarcerated in jail for 3+ years and just now getting into the Federal system over the last 3 months.
Since arriving here, we have been on lockdown the majority of the time.
I am supposed to qualify for the First Step Act, but do not.
There is no way to come out and effectively program here, and I am stuck at even where to begin at this point.
Unicore left this facility because of the lockdowns and violence.
I am a first time offender, and not sure why I even made it to a medium facility in the first place.
Just trying to find a way to perservere through this situation and come out of it a better and stronger man than when I came in.
