Journal Entry

Chapter 12 in PSAP is a good one. The question I liked the most so far is, how do past decisions affect the way people perceive you? It seems obvious but it’s not something I’ve put a lot of deep thought into. Decisions reflect values. Anyone that looks at my case can see that my values were poor when I was living the way I was before I was indicted. That’s how people will perceive me until they get to know me and see that my decisions since then have changed, reflecting a new set of values. I have a lot of work to do to overcome the perception that people have of me. I know I’m on the right path now, but it’s good to think about the fact that people I encounter in the future will not know that I’ve changed until I show a track record of good decision making, reflecting the values I hold now.
