Today is the 4th of July. We all already know what the outside world is doing. Fireworks, cookouts, family gathering and so forth. For me it’s a day off of work from Unicor. A day to take advantage of and catch up on some work. One of the things I was working on was my Business Plan for the trucking company. While working on this I am coming up on few obstacles as for lack of resources. I don’t have none of the big internet search engines or none the other trucking websites to find things I need. Things such as how the trucking economy forecast is looking? What the competitive rates are? What locations are the best to launch from? Information I would like to have to being able to list my strength and weaknesses or my opportunities and threats. Or to make accurate cash flow projections. I am using Mr. Santos avatar format to picture who I would be presenting the business plan to so I can use the Socratic questioning formula in order to build a business plan to the best potential it can have. When we don’t have the web or the internet we use the next best thing which is books. I have read several books to help me analyze everything I need. It may be a little outdated by 3 or 5 years but it’s good enough to use for now. When I do finally get to the outside I can simply make more accurate adjustments to the plan. Lack of Resources? No excuses! Where there is a will there is a way.
