My name is Pedro SantaCruz, I’m from Nogales, Arizona I have 3 kids I’m currently divorced. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister, one of my brothers is currently incarcerated in state prison in Arizona, my other brother was locked up but got out in 2021 just right after I got locked up. So you could say we swapped places. I am not proud of what I did I hope to change my ways and get out and not go back to doing what I was doing before,I know it will be hard as I currently lost everything because it was seized but I know I will prosper. I read your book and that motivated me to start doing something that will make use of this time, I know that if I use this time productively I will not have wasted the time. As of right now I am currently enrolled in GED and I passed one of the 4 subjects for which I am proud, I’ve only been enrolled for about 3 weeks. I exercise daily, I have lost 145 pounds and I’m probably in the best shape I have been since I was in high school. I also read a lot of books in the 3 years I have been incarcerated I have read about 1000 plus books,I was on lockdown for about a year when I was fighting my case because of covid so that gave me the opportunity to read and learn.I have read the bible twice, I feel extremely proud for having read it twice in the time I have been locked up.
