Hi, I have prepared for my release since I was arrested, because as a child of God, I know it is not in His will for His children to be separated from their families, and treated like a leaper. I know that I’m meant to influence my environment and my community because I believe that God has gifted me with the gift of encouragement. I use this gift as much as I am allowed. I believe that a lot of people are not successful in coming out of situations like this because there is no connection between the people who run the facilities, the people who are “program specialists” and all the other officials who now have control over our lives. I have begun thinking about other creative ways to create life experiences while we are in these circumstances. I have been trying to effectively move around these circumstances practically applying biblical principles practicing life and blooming where I’m planted. I have a goal of influencing those around me for the better and creating a culture change while being incarcerated.
