I have adjusted my release plan to include new careers I hadn’t thought of doing before. While here in Morgantown I’ve completed the Welding Certification Class and can now weld Stick (SMARC) and MiG. In addition, my typing skills have improved tremendously since I cannot use a computer with autocorrect. With my legal background as an accountant and my experience with the Justice System I am looking into paralegal careers as well.
3 years ago I would never have considered welding or paralegal as a job or career. Now, I am pursuing both upon release and preparing resumes that focus on my transferable skills to the two disparate careers.
