In what way can you find coaching strategies from the books you read?
I try to find examples in the books that I read which I can relate to. Coming to prison I did have a difficult time to adjust to how things work. I just found the books by Michael Santos and I can relate to him because I received 20 years and I can relate to how he felt coming to prison. I learned how to evolve into prison lifestyle, not in a bad way but to relate to the other guys in here. I am currently using Michael’s books to coach me on how to be successful now and very soon once I am released back into society. I do not want to be another failed convict who can’t find a job or comes back to prison. I want to be on the statistic side of a successful convict who turned his life around and can help others be successful and I am doing that by learning from a good coach.
