1. In what way would memorializing your journey through prison serve as an asset for your future? I believe the telling of our story is the best way much like Michael did in his story. He told it like it was with nothing held back. Of course some stories of people in prison wont always have the outcome but that means that the person did not give up with a good ending or a bad ending. I would hope that it could give others hope to people in prison and out of prison that others are living a worse life than you. Prison is a place that can be very easy to give up and not have a future in prison or even once you are out because that person just gave up. That can change by using social media to share your story.
2. In what way would memorializing your journey through prison serve as a liability for your future? Any time you document your journey in any type of media and broadcast , there will always be critics who will never see the good of your journey through prison I would hope that those negative critics would see a change in that person and change their mind to give that person a chance in the workplace.
3. In what ways could a person use social media as a career accelerator upon release? Since almost everyone uses social media it does broaden your reach to others to you can put out your resume, your story, and show more about yourself so others can see and learn about you. Since it is electronic all you have to do is make it once and it can me seen by millions.
