Developing good skills are important aspects needed in order to succeed in future endeavors. Nothing is perfected nor done well without practice. In order to take pride in your work or offer service that is of expectations, one must possess a certain level of skill. That skill is worked on daily. With all this idle time why would somebody not want to be the best at whatever they plan to do upon re-entry to society. We are already losing time and the chances to work at improving talent in any given profession through experience. We also lack the contacts that others not cut off from world posses that can be tools for further advancement. The only thing you will have is skill to set you apart from others and it should be nurtured and honed to produce the best results. People who do not plan, plan to fail! Through reading, developing business plans now, self discipline, studying useful trades, participating in any educational classes/program that are offered to me. I am visualizing what I want out of my future plans and setting coordinates so I have a course to travel when the time arises. I am working towards improving everything about myself that I possibly can using this time to grow instead of stagnate and digress.
