One way I try to embrace change is to act as if I’m already out in my mindsets. With my factory job I try to work as if I’m already out and treat it as if it was a job in the world. With the rest of my routine I try to make it less about prison and more about a routine that I will keep and maintain once I am released. Doing this I also try to keep my interactions and response positive and the same as I would want them to be outside. I feel preparing this way lets me train my mind to not think like a prisoner but as an individual.
