One of the things I do now to help with my future income is to train my mind to to not purchase and spend money on things just because I can. I am a very bad impulse purchaser. Being a 100% disabled Veteran I am fortunate that once I have made it to the halfway house I will have an income source that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I have established a plan to you this money to maintain my life while using the money I will earn through working to invest and help build a financial base that will generate an income 24 hours a day.
