Its so hard for me to do the work I do because I get so attached. I currently help alot of the non-speaking English Inmates and inmates from other countries who are not confident in their writing to write the agencies needed in order to settle matters reguarding their status in America.

Its hard for me because working with these women I get to know their stories. Their dreams, their fears..

Some women I write for came here to have clean water.. that I can shower in all day .. they can too.. water.

Food… three meals a day.. American children don’t even have access to this and that security..

Shelter..

Medical care..

Shall I say more..

The freedom to pratice their religion… The freedom to use their voice.

Whatever Reason I was born .. I hope it was to be their voice..

The Dula I worked closely with told me she feels guilty for having such privilage she has..

I feel the same she does..

Sadly I won’t be here to complete the Dula program they wanted to get me into, thankfully I’ll be able to complete the course online upon release. However real life experience for the good and the bad are what make the best Dulas.

Getting mom’s to ACRS by calling the guards and explaining when a mom couldnt speak English was a ground breaking moment in my life to see I have a higher calling. Writing Judges for women for criminal to family.. helping with Civil cases.. Gosh I love the Justice system and navigating through it. It’s like a puzzle I want to finish and make rights.. make sure every piece fits for everyone.. its just sad I feel like I can’t do that for myself in this system. You can’t win every case.. but you can try.
