WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?
I recently had my twin brother take a DNA Test to find our roots. I have not received the results yet. Here is what I do know. I know that on my mother’s side many of our ancestors lived in Georgia and Miami, Florida. On my Father’s side , After Africa , we originate in Sweetings Cay, Bahamas. I know that we are still here so at some point our ancestors were taken from Africa and e ended up here in America. The fact that I am here tells me that they were resilient enough to survive. I believe that I owe it to them and their sacrifices to take advantage of the opportunities available to me. I must be successful the right way. Success based on corrupt behavior is not success. Once I get my results I will research my people and use their sacrifice as fuel to be a better man.
