Perspective – The aspect in which a subject or its parts are mentally viewed.
Perspective applies to my growth and healing because I used to think about perspective incorrectly. I saw things as facts , black or white , right or wrong.
In the past I didn’t understand that in the same scenario , two different individuals could see and act differently. I used to get irritated about how people act in certain situations. I saw them as if they were wrong while in their eyes they act right.
Recently , I am learning to be more open minded to situations and behaviors and I am learning to accept different reactions because we all have different views , opinions and perspectives.
I have benefited from working on this by learning radical acceptance . I find my self less judgmental.
I learned to accept people as they are . I am less stressed and much more relaxed.
I am even learning to accept the fact that I am in prison.
For years I claimed that I was innocent , I didn’t lied , however this week I learned that it was my perspective of the event . The fact was that I was wrong , knowingly or not , I was wrong.
With this understanding my perspective has changed and I am more receptive.
Now , when I disagree , I tell my self that it is just a different point of view
