I have aimed to complete every program that I could get into during my time in prison but I do place priority over the educational programs that will follow me outside. The certifications that I can list on a resume’ because those are the credentials that will give me real opportunities in the free world. Its the investing in “myself” that has allowed me to change my overall way of thinking. For me, that is using the knowledge that I’ve gained throughout life and start applying it so that I can grow to be the best possible version of myself.
