Today has been a good day i finally got my property and I’m elated, So being that i just rode into my designated facility i had to wait until the receiving department call me out to give me the things that was sent from my last facility. Waiting on my property to get passed took just shy of a month, until then i had to buy almost everything over including shoes, hygiene products, underwear etc. One of the most important items i wanted was my tablet, because i have a lot of songs I’ve ordered and also have games,but the main thing i wanted to do on my tablet is rent movies. The tablet has to be one of the most expensive things to maintain especially if you like songs and renting movies,each song cost about two dollars as well as a game but to rent a movie its about five dollars to watch it for one and a half times before it expires, why the half i don’t know. Now that i do have all,well most of my property, because they didn’t give me all my things saying its a limit on certain items like t-shirts,jogger outfits and bowls,which are all things i was allowed to buy at another institution,so i don’t see why they take them when you get to the next place,(of course its money).Having my things will allow my time to go faster as I’m always busy escaping this reality by listening to songs or watching a movie when I’m not reading or exercising. You would be surprised on how much a good song or game would take you far away from this annoyance of a place. My minutes on my phone has ran low and i only have 14 minutes left until the 4th and todays the 26th, thanksgiving is in two days so i will use the last call to phone family as that will be a great way to catch a lot of my family all together hence it being a good time to call. The limit on phone minutes is really a drag because once the allotted time is gone you cant buy anymore time and have to wait until your day comes back around each month time revalidate, this system is hard for my family and I because i love to talk to my son in particular and other family often as i can, but once my minutes are gone i cant call anymore even if an emergency arises. My usual workout routine had to wait today as it took hours while i received my property so i will make up tomorrow but i got my 5 words in as per usual,count time is one thing that’s consistent around here so i always have time to sit and learn a new word and definition. Well i will keep a great outlook and a thankful attitude,my time in federal prison is ending soon and i cant wait to be back home.
