For the second day straight we are on modified operations due to an uptick in violence on the compound.

Only the Dublin inmates are receiving their psych medications. We have had three riots on the compound in 2 days.

Commissary, after months of sporadic shop days, shut down this morning after announcing that again, they were issuing a limit on spend after months of being out of most items. The crowd at commissary started screaming “My list is already written!” and “I have nothing in my locker!” amongst numerous expletives. Rather than deal with numerous outbursts to a crowd of women who haven’t been receiving their mental health meds, the officer understandably shut commissary down.

We are still being fed half portions at chow hall. All menu items of protein have been replaced with a shredded chicken variant- and each inmate is given a portion of 2 tablespoons per meal.

I just need to make copies at education and can’t even accomplish this task because in order to access the library, I must schedule an appointment in advance at least 24 hours, and the last 3 blocks of time I have scheduled have wound up being no movement.

Case managers are not doing anyone’s paperwork because they have been augmented to work regular officer’s shifts on the compound. Even Mr. Nettles, who we can count on to see at least once a week has been gone on regular duty shifts for several weeks.
