Today, I was focused on several projects with Matt, Dillion, Oso, and Gary. Since Anthony was off, the team was slightly smaller, but we were able to manage. We started the day by working on the Hero Park Loading Zone and the temporary Handicap Zone. Matt and Dillion led the charge on that, while Oso and Gary assisted.
Afterward, we moved on to the Marana School Crosswalk, where Gary and Oso handled the primary tasks. The next project was the removal of RPMs on Orange Grove. Matt, Dillion, Oso, and Gary all chipped in to remove the traffic markers efficiently.
In the afternoon, I worked on the Shelving Rack Project inside the Office Shed, which involved organizing and optimizing the storage space. Meanwhile, Sean was busy with the Thermo Truck and Office Shed Move, managing the logistics of the larger equipment.

The day started with a full crew as we tackled the Marana Orange Grove Longline and Shortline project. Sean, Gary, Dillion, Oso, Matt, and Anthony were all hands-on for this one. It required some detailed work, but the team was in sync and we made great progress.

New Year’s Day – All Off. A well-deserved break for the team to rest and recharge for the rest of the week.
Thursday, January 2, 2025
Anthony had the day off, but the rest of the crew was back at it. We began by working on the Marana Hidden Saguaro Roundabout, where we had to obliterate old markings, repaint, and remove RPMs. Sean, Gary, and I focused on that while Matt, Dillion, and Oso worked on the Orange Grove RPM removal project.

Dillion was off today, so the team was slightly smaller. We kicked off the day with the City of Tucson’s Country Club Buffered Bike Lanes project, followed by the Broadway and Mountain
View Crosswalk Blackout and Sign Removal. The entire crew—Sean, Gary, Oso, Matt, and Anthony—worked together efficiently to complete these tasks, ensuring everything was up to standard.
Overall, it was a productive week despite some scheduling challenges. I was able to focus on key projects like the Shelving Rack organization and the Marana roundabout work. Looking forward to another busy week ahead.
