Week of October 14-18, 2024 

Overview: 

This week marks a significant transition as we shift to earlier start times at 6:30 AM, coinciding with cooler weather that promises to enhance our productivity. Notably, our operations in Eloy later this week will be daytime jobs, eliminating the need for overnight shifts. 

Monday, October 14 

The week kicked off with a busy schedule in Marana. Our team focused on critical tasks at Pima Reserve, including merging arrows and painting the crossroads for Cat Tracks. Justin, Sean, and Anthony tackled the intersection work at Ina and Silverbell and Old Father, ensuring clear navigation for drivers in the area. Meanwhile, Matt and Dillion contributed their efforts at the Armory Park Senior Center, enhancing safety and accessibility for residents. 

Tuesday, October 15 

The team gathered for longline/shortline thermo work in Sahuarita, focusing on recent road projects.Justin, Sean, Anthony, Matt, Dillion, and Oso collaborated seamlessly on Calle Verde and Sahuarita Acres, demonstrating excellent teamwork and commitment to quality. 

Wednesday, October 16 

With Anthony taking a day off, the team continued its focus on the Eloy railroad crossings, implementing obliteration, preformed, and Minimac thermo techniques. Sean, Matt, Justin, Dillion, and Oso worked diligently to maintain our high standards. Justin’s adaptability was once again evident as he stepped up to support the team in Anthony’s absence, proving his reliability under varying circumstances. 

Thursday, October 17 

As Anthony remained off, we repeated the previous day’s work at the Eloy crossings. The consistency of our operations was crucial. 

Friday, October 18 

The week concluded with another focused effort on the Eloy railroad crossings, where Justin, Sean, Anthony, Matt, Dillion, and Oso brought their collective expertise to the task.
