Week of September 23-27, 2023
Start Time Change Announcement
This week, our daily schedule shifts to an early start at 6:30 AM. It’s a small change that promises to maximize our productivity as we dive into a week filled with exciting projects.
Monday: Laying the Foundation
We kicked off the week with a comprehensive hour of layout training that set the tone for the days ahead. Following this, our team divided into two projects. In the Marana area, Sean, Anthony, Justin, and Zach focused on longline paint restriping, ensuring our road markings are clear and safe for drivers. Meanwhile, Kalill and Dillion made significant progress in painting the handrails, completing Phase 1 and initiating Phase 2. Justin’s keen attention to detail during the restriping stood out, ensuring precision that will enhance road safety.
Tuesday: Building Momentum
We began the day again with layout training, followed by a continuation of the longline paint restriping in Marana. Justin, once more at the forefront, displayed remarkable skill in coordinating the work with his teammates, demonstrating leadership that inspired the group. Kalill and Dillion continued their work on the handrail painting, pushing forward in Phase 2.
Wednesday: Training and New Projects
With Anthony taking a day off, we adopted our schedule and shifted to short line paint machine training. This was a vital session that prepared us for the upcoming tasks. After training, the team moved to the Marana Layout Marks at the Crossroads/Tangerine Intersection, with Sean, Zach, and Kalill ensuring everything was up to standard. Meanwhile, Justin and Dillion took charge at the Speedy Garage Canopy, where their expertise in executing intricate designs shone brightly.
Thursday: Teamwork in Action
The day began with another shortline paint application at two key Marana intersections. Justin, Sean, Kalill, Dillion, were instrumental in maintaining our efficiency and ensuring high-quality results.
Friday: Wrapping Up the Week
We finished the week with a final push in Marana for the longline paint restriping and a new centerline at Crossroads Park. Justin collaborated closely with Sean and Anthony, and Linden delivered results that exceeded expectations. The additional re-striping of other roads reflected our commitment to excellence and safety. Meanwhile, Kalill and a new member to the team wrapped up their work at the Speedy Garage Canopy, showcasing the collaborative spirit that defines our team.
