Monday,
Performed restriping of longline paint at Ina Rd, Marana, AZ. Work area started at the east end near the bridge and concluded at the west end, stopping at Silverbell. Ensured the paint truck was fully stocked with white paint (no yellow required) and prepped thermo truck as needed for the upcoming Saddlebrooke project.
Subsequently relocated to Casa Grande, AZ, to address obliteration at Casa Grande & Trekell and Rodeo. Utilized two electric blowers, extra batteries, truck charger, and a gas blower. Brought two grinders for the assignment.
Tuesday, May 20:
Proceeded to Saddlebrooke, AZ, for Saddlebrooke 2 edgeline thermoplastic application. Loaded the thermo truck 100% full with white, including two pallets on the deck. No yellow paint required. Executed layout and applied 6″ white thermoplastic striping, creating a designated bike/cart lane at six feet wide from the asphalt edge as specified. Staged equipment for the Kenworthy and Ocotillo thermo/grinder project scheduled for Wednesday.
Later attended a rubber speed bump installation for Contractor at 5761 S. Park Ave, Tucson, AZ. Used jackhammer for installation and checked attachment bits for compatibility.
Wednesday, May 21:
Early start (6:00 AM). Traveled to Kenworthy and Ocotillo in Queen Creek, AZ, for a thermoplastic striping and grinding job. Operated minimacs thermo applicators, grinder, and melter truck. Arrival on-site as planned by 9:00 AM.
Ensured all equipment and materials were fully prepped prior to departure. Assisted with additional site tasks in Tucson and Marana, with follow-up at AC Pro (990 S Cherry Ave) and Marana bullnose for missed paint and RPMs, as necessary. Thursday, May 22:
Returned to Marana, AZ, for work with Hunter Contracting. Responsibilities included longline painting, obliteration of approximately 200 feet of line using line grinders, and preparation for layout with control points in multiple project areas (Twin Peaks, Coachline Detour, Airline, and Lambert Right Turn Lane).
Shifted to support operations for the City of Tucson, focusing on RPM installation at Ft Lowell. Employed Type C 301 and Type D 212 RPMs, leaving previous reflectors in place as directed.
Friday, May 23:
