Justin Norcutt – Weekly Journal Entry

Week of February 24, 2025

Monday, February 24, 2025

The week began with an early start at 7:00 AM in Maricopa, AZ. The team focused on longline painting, shortline obliteration, and paint restriping. I worked alongside Sean, Anthony, Gary, Matt, Dillon, and Oso to complete the necessary tasks. We had a productive day and were able to complete most of the work planned for today before heading into the overnight stay in Maricopa.

Started later today at 8:00 AM, and I took the day off. The team continued in Maricopa, handling longline paint, shortline obliteration, and paint restriping. Sean, Gary, and Anthony were on-site managing the work, while Matt, Dillon, and Oso supported the effort. I stayed off-site and had a chance to prepare for the coming days.

Another 8:00 AM starts in Maricopa, AZ. Anthony and Gary were off today, so I worked with Sean, Matt, Dillon, and Oso to focus on obliteration and shortline paint restriping. We made significant progress, and the team was in good spirits. It was a solid day of work despite the absence of some key crew members.

Thursday, February 27, 2025

Started at 7:30 AM in Marana, AZ. We worked on longline painting, with myself, Sean, and Gary focusing on the task. Later in the day, we shifted over to Tucson, AZ, to tackle the repainting of the bumps at Terra Vista. Oso, Dillon, and Matt took the lead on that portion of the job, and we managed to get everything done as planned. Overall, the day was successful, and we were able to maintain high-quality work throughout both locations.

Today was a well-deserved day off for the entire team. After a busy and productive week, it was good to take a step back and recharge before the next set of projects.

Reflections:

This week was full of productive work across multiple locations, with everyone pulling their weight and collaborating well as a team. It was great to see the coordination across different tasks, from longline paint to obliteration, and to contribute to keeping everything on track. Looking forward to next week and continuing the momentum!
