Journal Entry – Week of February 17
This week’s schedule kept us on the go, with early starts each day at 7:30 AM, and a variety of striping and painting projects scattered across southern Arizona. As always, the team worked seamlessly together, ensuring the job was done efficiently and to the highest standard.
Monday brought us to Marana, AZ, where the day kicked off with a laser wash/spray 3M mask at Mount Carriage. Afterward, we moved on to Marana Longline Paint Restriping on the AZ Pavilions roads. The work was straightforward, but the collaboration between Sean, Anthony, Justin, and Gary kept things moving smoothly. Meanwhile, Matt, Dillion, and Oso took on the Speedy Yard Organization Project, a much-needed overhaul to keep things in order.
On Tuesday, Sean had the day off, and the crew headed south to Sahuarita, AZ. The task was a combination of La Villita Shortline Thermo and Preformed Legends installations. Justin, Gary, Anthony, Matt, Dillion, and Oso all took part, demonstrating the level of coordination needed for this type of multi-tasking project.
By Wednesday, we split the team a bit, with Anthony and Gary off. The rest of us headed to Tucson, AZ to work on Casino Del Sol’s Speed Hump Striping. Sean and Justin handled the details, while Matt, Dillion, and Oso traveled to Casa Grande, AZ, to check the layout for Ethington Rd. As always, it’s crucial to ensure everything is aligned properly before proceeding with any further work.
Thursday saw a full team back together at Casa Grande to work on the Ethington Rd Longline and Shortline Paint. This project required a bit more coordination, as the team had to be meticulous about the alignment and precision of the lines. With Gary, Justin, Sean, Oso, Dillion, and Matt working in sync, it was a success.
Finally, Friday wrapped up with a return to Marana for the Park Parking Lots Restripe. This was a more localized task, and with Matt, Oso, and Dillion on it, the work was completed swiftly. Later, we drove to Eloy, AZ, for an RXR Oblit and Preformed Thermo installation. Sean, Justin, Gary, and Anthony worked together to tackle the final task of the week.
All in all, it was a productive and smooth week. Everyone gave it their all, and the teamwork across different locations was impressive. Looking forward to what next week holds!
