How am I serving in my community?
I am grateful for today’s question for it allowed me a deep moment of reflection.

First and foremost, I have made myself available spiritually to all of my community. I have made it known by verbally that I am a hands-on Prayer Warrior who loves to have real conversations with anyone about life and problems and to pray with them if needed.

Second, I hope I’m seen as a fellow brother to all who is willing to help anyone in need if I am able.

Right now, I am living in a Therapeutic Community (RDAP PROGRAM). I serve my community by running copies at work for everybody as the RDAP orderly and getting their treatment assignments to them. I also check out books to them that they are assigned to read. I do this for no charge at all, which is absolutely unheard of in this world of hustles. I just consider it my service to my community. I am also helping two peers who are struggling in this program. One is an older gentleman who has a hard time with comprehension and expressing himself. The other has a pretty bad language barrier which hinders him from speaking English. Thankfully he can read it good enough, so I just write it out for him to read aloud.

In conclusion, this is how I am serving right here where I am at in my community.
