Boy, oh, boy. Pouring concrete by hand is definitely an experience. Our team was working so well together, but after the job was done, people had animosity and attitudes toward each other. I really didn’t understand at first, but then I remembered I only work with women in a tough situation. One woman didn’t like how another woman was standing in the way, or how a woman raised her voice, etc.. It helps me learn how to work with certain types of people, but also appreciate my work ethic that I’m building. I love working as a team, leading, and doing the best at whatever I am doing. Personally, I follow the four agreements, so most of the time, I don’t take anything personally. It’s helping me realize that I can be confident when I work on the outside.
