My phrase of the day has been, “I lust live here, I don’t work here”. We are on lockdown and everyone has been questioning why. As one of the first people awake in the morning, everyone expects you to have the fresh news if something goes on. Not me. I wake up to call my family and have one on one time with God before work. Sometimes people forget we are in prison, and we have absolutely no control over when the staff wants to lock us down. We panic because it’s different and routines are messed up. Yes, it threw off my day, but I pressed forward and took advantage of being able to take a relaxing rest day and study.
