Things are so easy to say. “Just cut off the people that are not good in your life”. What if that person is your father? The one you are reconciling with after not having them all your life? Then it’s not so easy, and you have to weigh out the pros and cons, including your future. Sometimes it feels like we don’t have a right to cut people off because we are inmates, but we can because we are humans trying to do better for our lives. Me personally, I am trying to learn how to love from afar when necessary.
