Perseverance ..boy did I need to hear that today. I am serving a 22-year drug sentence and I am at a camp where people come and go with sentences like 1 year and a day. It is very hard to deal with listening to people talk about going home after they have been here for a few months. The system is so unfair in its sentencing. They need to rethink the whole guideline thing. And why are we being sentenced again on criminal history points if we are a career offender isn’t that enough to punish repeat offender. You should either be career or not and sentenced for the crime you committed not the ones you have already paid for AGAIN. Why do we allow this???
