I have started taking a college class here at Pekin which will end with me getting an Associates Degree in Business management. I am super excited we started this summer with one class and will resume classes the 19th of August.
Staying busy and keeping your mind active helps with day to day boredom of prison. For two hours twice a week, I am a college student studying for a better future. I hope this will help with employment when I am released as I will be older and will have a harder time gaining employment. This is an exciting opportunity I am proud to be a part of.
