Had a wonderful talk with my sister this weekend !! I need to make more of an effort to stay in touch with my family. Life goes on when you are incarcerated it is easy to feel left behind if you don’t actively stay involved with your family. I am going to make more of an effort to make phone calls especially now since calls are free at the moment ..soon they will be $ 3.50 a call making it impossible to call when we only make 12.00 a month in pay. They need to have more opportunities at camp for us to work in outside jobs to make money and prepare for our release. I don’t want to continue to be a financial burden to my friends and family. I want to provide for myself.
