Everyday is pretty much the same in here. I try to stick to my routine of waking everyday at 3:30 am to get ready for work. I work at the butcher shop in the kitchen so I go to work at 4:45 am Mon thru Friday. I usually get off work about 9 am then I shower and will head to the library where I do my homework. I am currently taking a Business Management course through the local Community College here in Peoria Illinois. I am working towards an Associates Degree. I still have 7 years left of a 22 year drug sentence. I hope and pray everyday for sentence reform that will allow me to go home early. I am 54 years old and would like the opportunity to be able to work a bit to help for when I retire. I worry how I will support myself in my later years having spent 14 years in prison by the time I will go home. I will be 60. I am really concerned about how little I have put in to social security. I do not want to continue to be a burden to the system.
