So..today has been a rough day. I got into it with another lady who was bullying a new inmate. I didn’t let my anger get the best of me I was able to finally get this person to see that what she was doing was wrong. It is tough enough being here without having someone be mean to you when you first arrive. I try to stay in my own lane BUT I cannot watch someone be treated badly and do nothing about it. Other than that things are going well staying busy. I love my job and am finally earning enough that I don’t have to rely on my family for money. It feels good to be self-sufficient even in such a small manner. I pray for good reform or maybe work release opportunities. Or just let us campers go home on home confinement.
