Every day I do my best to stay focused on the things I want to have when I leave prison…A successful career, a good relationship with my kids and family, and the means to travel and see beautiful places.
Right now I stay busy with my VT Electrical class. It is NCCER accredited and I will be able to use this when I get out. So far in my class I have received exceptional scores on all my tests and this has been something that has given me a lot of self-esteem. Everyday after class I come back to my room and I take at least an extra hour to go over what we are learning. I have become passionate about something and it has pushed me to be passionate about everything else I come in contact with.
Right now I am taking things one day at a time. I am using this time to learn everything I have always wanted to know. One of those things being quantum physics…which I don’t know what it is now, but I will. Knowledge is something no one can take from you. Right now, Here and now, I am embracing my path to knowledge!! 😉
