Only 1.5 days left!

My wife visited for the last time today. My bunkie came by to say “Happy Wedding Anniversary” and recommended to my wife to “Look after Jerry. He is a big kid and it was wonderful to have him for this short time period.”

My wife always says thank you to everyone. She channels her father who always said “Thank you for the kindness”.

When my wife first arrived she told the CO this was her last time visiting, and mentioned that I am being released on our 34th Wedding Anniversary. As I came into visitation, the CO said “you better get her a great anniversary gift”. It was then I pulled a daisy out of my pocket and said, “Yes, let’s start now” and I gave it to my wife.

Upon leaving, my wife thanked the CO again. I said my goodbye to my wife and when I came back in to see the CO he asked me how long I was here at Otisville. I told him 5 months on a 22 month sentence, and he said “that’s pretty good” and then said “but to be released on your wedding anniversary?! How did you pull that off?” It was then I told him my secret. I told him I joined the Temple. He sincerely heard me and his eyes opened up wide as if to say “I am a believer”, and then he said “It is very unusual that this would happen. That you would be released on your anniversary and before your daughter’s wedding.” I added that receiving the news of the furlough the day before my daughter’s bridal shower was also divine. I was able to let my daughter know that I would be walking her down the aisle the day before her bridal shower. I consider all of these divine happenings hugs from Hashem.
