Happy Sunday to you all.
I am beyond thrilled the best news was delivered in time for my daughter’s Shower.
So excited to see my family this upcoming weekend!
Shabbat was extra special yesterday….so much so that I forgot to attend morning services that I normally go to after lunch….in fact, a friend said “ah, look who decided to show up.” He meant it but I take it as a compliment being I’ve consistently attended every week. I’ll take it as a positive momentary lapse of Shabbat attendance in honor of my daughter!
Every Sunday they serve eggs and potatoes. Today, for the first time, I put the eggs on a challah roll and asked my buddy for ketchup. It was delicious. The more you hang around others, everyone shares a little tip on how to best prepare the food we receive….and this one worked out perfectly.
I picked up a new book in the library and it’s published by Chabad.org called Positivity Bias and it’s great. It shares story after story of a famous Rebbe in Brooklyn from the 1950’s -current year. It’s all about how the Rebbe thinks and helps others through his ways….and it’s been a great read.
So, off I go to the library to read some more.
