In the Sales world, there is a sales system called “Sandler Sales”. Some of it I like, some is a bit too arrogant for my taste. There is a part of the program that talks about your worth and it is on a scale of 1-10, 10 being full strength. When you leave your home to start your day, you are a 10. As the world starts to beat you up, you may feel like a 6 because that is how you perceive your worth. When you get home and you are safe, you are a 10 again (unless you are married to my x-wife because she can make you feel like a negative 6***).
The truth is nobody can take away your 10. You have to put on your armor before you leave home and let the negativity bounce off you. In Federal Prison, there will be Correctional Officers (C.O.’s) that will try and remind you that, because you are an inmate, you are less than. Don’t believe them!!
Through reading, studying successful people, and writing, I better myself little by little every day. My armor gets stronger and more tailor-fitted every day. And when I leave Federal Prison this year, I will be a better EVERYTHING because of my daily focus on bettering myself physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Remember — YOU. ARE. A. 10.
