My release date is currently projected for June 19th 2034 according to the BOP website. Goals I would like to achieve within 10 years include earning a college degree, narrowing down a career choice, and earning as much time off as possible by not getting into any trouble resulting in write ups.
Within the next 10 months I would like to earn my transfer to a minimum security camp. Once I am at the camp I would like to find a college willing to do correspondence wherever I am located at that time. Between now and then I will continue signing up for all the FSA and educational classes I can and continue to read literature that will help me learn more and grow as a human being.
The above goals relate to the person I aspire to become because they will keep me focused on furthering my education so that I can be the positive influence my kids and family need. I wish to lay a foundation on rock rather than the sand I began building my foundation on before I was incarcerated.
