Empathy is something I never thought I had or even understood. Placing myself in the place of others and understanding something that I have never been through is a difficult task. Yet as I have now learned it is in all of us to be empathetic we just tend to be so self involved we do not realize the help we can give the next person by showing empathy. My goal is to make sure I do not miss these opportunities to show I care.
