Today is another day that I am given a chance to make amends for the life I led. A day to make a change in myself and fix the things within? Another closer to attaining my goal. I have learned that by releasing the things that incarcerate you, that it gives you control of who you really are. This is why I wrote the essay incarceration. I released those demons and am free from the burden I carried for so long. Healing is a life long process but we must all start somewhere. I’m thankful that I am able to do this as it will help me be a better man, husband, friend, and father.
