I was watching a podcast and Pastor David said “it is not what you are going through but where you are going to.” He was talking about what we needed to focus on. This made me think about all I have been through and how I was focused on the incorrect things. How I needed to focus on the sacrifices my family has made and how they just want me home. I was not looking at where I was going. I was not looking at where I needed to be but how I could fit in where I was at. Not understanding that I was not supposed to be focused on all the negative things that prison society brings with it. Now I know and am focused on getting to where I am going. I am excited for the day I can be home with my family and appreciate all that I have been blessed with.
