Appreciation is not always something I use to view as important. Now I do because I can appreciate the sacrifice and unconditional love that my family shows me. This only makes me dig deeper and motivates me more to be the best I can be. It shows me what’s truly important in this world. I have come to realize that the idle gossip in prison is irrelevant in a world where my family loves me so much and wants me to succeed. This is why I work so hard at revamping my mind to be the best version of myself.
