I would very much like to implement a better administration for the BOP, which is the only prison system I have been in. It seems that there is so much corruption and not enough care for the facilities and the inmates that are living in them. My whole life I truly thought the prison system was a place for correction and rehabilitation, but in here, if you do not help yourself and find ways to rehabilitate yourself, there is no one that has any heart to help any “inmate”. Then I would implement a way to follow inmates who are actually doing good while serving their time, help them achieve better things, like receiving extra credits toward their release, as I have seen too many inmates who are doing good things, yet they are not even eligible for FSA Credits, while others who are busy all day doing illegal things, no job, not furthering their education, and are receiving FSA and all sorts of credits. Basically I would make FSA available to those who are actually doing something positive and productive for themselves, not according to their cases.
