Good Day. I was sitting here at Victorville holdover, waiting to transfer to Lompoc, and hating it. Praying and praying to be on each bus that leaves. And then something Alice Marie Johnson wrote in her book titled, “After Life,” hit me. She said “bloom where you are planted, God knows where you are.”
So often we can get caught up on where we WANT to be, and getting to a better place, that we miss opportunities to mentor and help those who need it right where we are. Or miss opportunities to receive something vital for us.
Letting God be in control is such a hard thing so often. Putting in the work needed, and taking things out of God’s hands are a fine line. But the fact that I am conscious of this tells me that He is doing a work in me still.
