It has been a long struggle to get these programs up and running, eighteen months, but it has finally happened. It just reminds me that dedication and persistence is necessary for any journey, no matter how big or small.
I am thankful for each opportunity that comes my way, and when it seems as if none are coming, I look to create some. My family and friends are eagerly awaiting my return home, so I continue to create extraordinary and compelling reasons why I should get relief from this draconian sentence. And in this process I continue to grow in ways I never imagined possible.
