Today is AUG 1, 2023 and I must say it has been an interesting day. I’m enrolled in a religious program called LCP Life Connection Program. This program gives you a chance to learn about other religious groups which I think is very important so we will be able to understand each other beliefs and faith and also get closer to GOD. Every day 1 member of the group has a chance to pick a word and express how that word applies to them and their life for WORD OF THE DAY. Today was my day and I chose the word IDENTITY. I have been observing the actions of everyone around me as should everyone so you will know your surroundings and all I see is heartbreak, sadness, loneliness, and internal cries. So I spoke on IDENTITY. I said my word of the day is identity, I chose this word not only for the word of the day but also for myself. When you’re out moving around and people see you for the first time what would you want your first impression to be? How would that person describe you to others? What is your character, which is a distinctive trait, quality, or behavior of a person? Who are you for real or should I say who am I? Have you ever heard the phrase the energy you give out is the energy you will receive? I would like to present myself as a man of principles and morals with a strong desire to be successful in life not a felon, not a criminal, not a drug dealer but a man who made a bad choice and is willing to redeem himself by re-entering into society with enough dignity to apologize to those who follow me, depend on me and believe in me. Reclaim my place in society as a father figure, well-respected businessman, and man of GOD. Yes according to the federal government, we are guilty of a crime but this is not your identity. We were not created to be criminals nor were we created to be perfect, we all make mistakes and bad choices, it’s a part of growing. You know people will ask you why are you acting funny since you came home from prison but your not acting funny your just more aware of your surroundings and refuse to return to that life, why are you working instead of hustling because I’m building my 401k, Social Security and I just might be the owner, why are you reading those spiritual books and there you go preaching again well I read spiritual books to learn more and be closer to the most high and if telling you the truth instead of lies is preaching then you need to re-evaluate your way of interpreting words because I promote the words of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, David, and Muhamad who taught the world about the righteous path, wisdom, and words of GOD. They spent years proving their identity while being hunted, abused and name slandered so why can’t you? This is not the end and the word felon is not your identity with the fundamental principles of accepting personal accountability, managing mental health, and spiritual growth with the LIFE CONNECTION PROGRAM we all can prove our true INDENTITY!!!!!!
