More Encouragement,

This morning here at USP Thomson the was a brief seminar given dealing with FSA and how it applies to inmates and the laws and processes it was very informative, but what was most important about it to me was not the information given but the fact that it was seen as a necessary to give this information to inmates, and it was not just given by anyone it was given by some men who came from Kansas City, men who are responsible for making sure that inmates receive the full benefit of “The First Step Act”. Although I am not eligible for the FTC or time credits because of an disqualifying offence (924(c)) Possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, I am still hopeful that I may get home earlier than 2030; I see that changes are slow but they are coming in steadily and most of them are to the benefit of the inmate, the the inmate who is taking full advantage of this great opportunity, and even if I am unable to make it home before 2030 I will be well equipped for success upon my release.
