11/18/2023 Saturday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:40 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 66 Degrees F and rain all day. Started walking at 1:00 PM at the basketball courts. Breakfast was served at 6:30 AM. Breakfast menu: bagel, jelly and coffee.

- Stretch.
- Call Doris.
- Check email from Doris.
- Email daily diary for 11/17/2023.
- Walk 6 miles.
- Split Stretch.
- Yoga.
- Quotations.
- ACE Class – Entrepreneurship 6-6:30 PM.
- Haircut at 6:30 PM.
It was raining in the morning. Went to sewing room to sew pockets for my sweat pants. Sewed a pouch for my sweatshirt. Sewed several pillow cases from sheets. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served at after the count. Lunch menu: Sloppy Joe sandwich, punch, carrots, punch and a banana. Talked to Doris at 10:30 AM: They are at the Pinole Senior Center show. They already set up and had a sale. Doris talked to Christine and she said they are waiting for me to get back so they can put me to work at the Senior Center. They have lots of jobs for my volunteer services. Talked to Patches and she is in good spirit and enjoyed doing the show with Doris.
Back to the sewing room to sew blanket and sheet cover for my mattress. The blanket and sheet will wrap around my mattress with Velcro straps. The straps will aid in installing and removing the sheets and blanket for washing. Also it will keep the sheet and blankets in place. Completed Mattress cover at 12:50 PM. Installed my mattress cover. Started walking at 1:00 PM at the basketball courts. Both the basketball courts combined is about 2/3 the size of the walking trail. Walked until 2:30 PM. Completed 6 miles walk before rain started again. Talked to Doris at 3:10 PM: Doris and Patches just finished the show and are on their way back home. They had a good show. Patches is driving the SUV and Doris is giving directions. They should use the GPS instead. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Roast beef, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, bread and punch. Entrepreneurship at 6-6:30 PM. Haircut at 6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Showered at 7:30 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day despite the rain: Doris and Patches are well. Doris had a good show. She met with Christine from Pinole Senior Center and they are waiting for me to return so they can put me to work. Walked 6 miles. Did a lot of special project sewing.
